Our Current Mission
Fix Orinda Roads Now is a volunteer committee of concerned Orinda citizens committed to developing sustainable funding for the City of Orinda's Road and Drainage Repair Plan. The June 3, 2014 ballot gave Orindans the opportunity to pass a bond Initiative, Measure J, that will address Phase Two of the Road and Drainage Repair plan. For more information about the committee please click here.
Since Orindans approved Measure L in November of 2012, the city is now able to use this income stream for the repair of our worst, most traveled residential roads.
Thanks to the voters who supported Measure J, it is time to implement Phase Two: the $20 million bond proceeds will provide funding for the worst residential roads that are rapidly deteriorating. These monies, together with the sales tax income will enable the City to add to infrastructure investment, not replace current funding.
